Karthik Chakkarapani
Karthik Chakkarapani is an enterprise transformation executive, CIO, Head of Enterprise AI, and Corporate Operations leader focused on helping organizations become AI-native operating companies.
As SVP, CIO, Head of Enterprise AI & Corporate Operations at Zuora, he leads enterprise IT, data, business operations, and AI transformation in support of the company’s Total Monetization vision. His work focuses on redesigning how the business operates by embedding AI, data, automation, and digital platforms into the flow of work to drive growth, efficiency, customer experience, decision velocity, and operating leverage.
Karthik builds AI-native operating models that move organizations beyond pilots and isolated productivity gains into enterprise-wide execution. His approach connects strategy, workflows, enterprise context, governance, and learning loops so AI becomes part of how the business runs.
At Zuora, he leads enterprise AI and operating model transformation across GTM pipeline, sales, service delivery, AI adoption, productivity, and corporate operations. He has scaled AI-enabled customer intelligence across customer accounts, advanced Agentic AI and autonomous workflows, launched Vibe AI / AIDLC to reduce time from concept to production to value, and delivered $2.8M+ in cost optimization through SaaS rationalization.

Across Zuora, Signify, Cisco, and Salesforce, Karthik has led transformation across SaaS, technology, and industrial enterprises, including recurring revenue transformation, customer lifecycle modernization, GTM platforms, digital commerce, customer experience, supply chain operations, Zero Trust, security, and platform modernization.
His leadership has been recognized by the CIO 100, the CSO 100, Gartner’s Eye for Innovation, Constellation Research’s Business Transformation 150, and Zscaler’s Zenny Award for enterprise AI, future of work, business transformation, digital transformation, and security.
He advises AI-native, cybersecurity, and SaaS startups on enterprise readiness, CIO/CxO value narratives, product strategy, go-to-market positioning, security, scalability, and adoption. He previously served as an executive coach and advisor for Kellogg and NYU Tandon digital, CIO, and Chief Digital Officer programs, mentoring 150+ aspiring digital and technology leaders.
His leadership philosophy is simple: AI value is not created by deploying more tools. It is created by redesigning how work happens, turning enterprise context, workflow intelligence, human judgment, and responsible AI into measurable business performance at speed and scale.
